The Claws of Ingenuity

  

  Adamantine, X- men and Hugh Jackman you got me I’m a die-hard fan of wolverine. Now those claws of his, really got me thinking, could I do that? Well, it is just a mechanical thing you know. I am not going to inject molten metal into my body and expect a trip to kingdom to be. Apart from scaring the neighborhood bully, it could be fun right? So I rigged up motors and 3 sticks that became my “claws”. Well, that was not hard right..? The real problem was to translate the rotatory motion into a linear one.

  Whoa! That was kind of scientific right? In layman’s terms I had to make the claws come out with the press of a switch. So I used a gear mechanism. Those gears are neat little pieces of work aren’t they? Kind of god’s gift to mechanical engineers. That gave me my own little set of wolverine claws. Now apart from his macho looks, the switch had to go. So I thought why not use a muscle sensor? I clench my hand and “zkkkt” out comes my claws!!! Unclench my hand and “krzzzt” back in they go!!!! Neat right!! Well if you guys feel like doing something like this, then please do so!!!And feel free to let your brain go haywire!!! Well I’m off to terrify that bully now.
